Students across various intelligence, security and covert action programmes offered by the University took advantage of a trip organised by BUCSIS to Bletchley Park, the principal centre of allied code breaking during World War II.
The excellent exhibits and accompanying details information brings this important period of intelligence collection and information management to life.
Trip organiser, Dr Ian Stanier stated:
“Field trips provide university students with hands-on experiences that enhance their understanding of theoretical concepts and bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application. They also foster critical thinking, and cultural awareness, enriching students’ overall educational journey.”
Future student enrichment visits are planned to different intelligence related venues throughout the year.
