Remembering Sir Martin Jacomb, 1929 – 2024

The University was very saddened to learn of the death of Sir Martin Jacomb.
We were extremely lucky to have him as our Chancellor from 1999-2010. His wisdom, thoughtfulness and support for the University continued long after his term as Chancellor was over and our gratitude cannot be overstated.
Our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.
