New partnership with Stowe Family Law’s High Wycombe office

The University of Buckingham Law School is delighted to announce a partnership with Stowe Family Law’s High Wycombe office, which specialises in divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships and associated matters including financial settlements and arrangements for children.

As part of this partnership, Stowe Family Law are offering ‘The Stowe Family Law Prize’, which will be awarded to the best performing student in the optional Family Law module. The prize will consist of two days’ work experience with the firm’s expert family solicitors, a wonderful opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the world of Family Law.

One of the key motivators for Stowe’s sponsorship of the module is to help future generations of lawyers understand what working as a family lawyer is like. The mindset and personal skills required to succeed differ from one area of the law to another, and it is sometimes difficult for students to try all areas of the law.
