Debarpita Bardhan-Correia, Dean of the Business School
Deba is Dean of the Business School and has strong interests in enhancing the teaching and learning experience for students at all levels. Her areas of expertise are Service Management and Cross-cultural Management and she supervises Master’s and PhD dissertations.
Dr Gurcharan Singh, Professor in Finance, Head of Department and Programme Director
Dr Gurcharan Singh is the Programme Director for the MSc in Accounting and Finance, the MSc in Finance and Investment and the MSc Financial Fraud, Intelligence and Investigation. His areas of expertise are in finance (portfolio management, investment, corporate finance) and operational research.

The accounting and finance degree programme provides a great platform for a career in the accounting and finance sectors, by giving graduates wishing to become accredited accountants a ‘fast-track’ route to achieve their qualification. Our graduates regularly join the accountancy programmes at international professional services firms, including Deloitte, Grant Thornton and PwC.
The skills developed on the degree will also serve as a basis for a career in business management, banking, financial services and consultancy.
