Top salaries for Buckingham graduates
13 October 2014
University of Buckingham students come fourth – excluding London institutions – when it comes to graduate salaries, according to The Sunday Times.
With graduates earning £24,175 on average in the first six months after leaving, the University is only beaten by Oxford, Cambridge and Bath, according to the newspaper’s figures. Including London, UCL also ranks higher than Buckingham.
Overall, the subject that pays best, according to the league table, is Computer Science.
Director of Marketing Julian Lovelock said: “It is good to know that not only does Buckingham lead the way for employability, but also that our graduates command among the highest salaries. It shows how much a degree from Buckingham is valued.”
The University tops league tables for employability and also has the safest campus in the country as well as leading the National Student Survey (NSS) for student satisfaction since 2006.
