BUCSIS presentation to UEFA

Dr Ian Stanier was invited to present to the UEFA FTF The Fight The Fix programme in Cardiff. This programme equips professionals involved in fighting match-fixing with the knowledge, tools and skills needed to gather intelligence, lead investigations and assist in prosecution proceedings. Dr Stanier said, ‘It was an honour to present at the conference. UEFA and its partners are working hard to tackle any activity which undermines the integrity of sport. Many of the programmes delivered by BUCSIS are directly relevant to aiding this effort including the PG Cert / MA By Research in Covert Action, HUMINT and Psychology of Intelligence Elicitation Programmes”
