Completing my two-year LLB degree at The University of Buckingham has been a transformative journey. Before embarking on this path, I spent two years as a fashion designer in Italy, followed by a move to the UK to explore various career opportunities. From personal shopper to compliance manager, I gained valuable experience across industries and completed various courses and apprenticeships. Yet, despite having a stable job and a satisfying income, I couldn’t shake the desire to pursue my true passion: a career in law.

This dream was deeply inspired by my late brother, Sunny, who always believed in my potential and encouraged me to chase my ambitions. His words, “I see a lawyer in you”, became my motivation to make this dream a reality.

Among the universities that offered me a place, I chose Buckingham for its unique two-year degree structure and the personalised teaching experience it promised. The small tutorial groups, where lecturers know you as an individual rather than a number, were particularly appealing. Initially, I felt uncertain about my choice, but those doubts disappeared on my very first day. I met incredible friends who have remained by my side throughout this journey, creating friendships I know will last a lifetime.

Academically, Buckingham exceeded all my expectations. The dedicated faculty, intimate learning environment, and supportive community pushed me to become more confident, disciplined, and resilient. The personal attention from lecturers helped me grow not just as a student but also as an individual.

To anyone considering studying an LLB at Buckingham, know this: life is about choices, growth, and resilience. The two-year degree is intense but incredibly fulfilling, pushing you to focus your energy on what truly matters. You will learn to embrace challenges and let go of unnecessary worries—because growth happens when you step outside your comfort zone.
