Megan began her legal journey working as a Paralegal at a boutique general practice law firm. While there, she assisted in the areas of family law, civil litigation, collection, corporate, estate planning and real estate. Megan later transitioned into corporate, tax and estate planning at a mid-sized firm.

After obtaining her legal assistant diploma and working for many years, Megan attended the University of Calgary to pursue an undergrad, majoring in Religious Studies and minoring in Law and Society. She now attends the University of Buckingham’s full-time LLB program with plans to obtain an LLM.

When she’s not working or studying, Megan can be found spending time with her husband and dog. Her extracurricular activities include training and teaching Taekwondo, writing articles for an online political magazine and spending time outdoors.

As your Mistress of Moot, Megan plans to work alongside Oliver Hall to organise an internal speed mooting competition and run mooting workshops for new cohorts studying the Legal Skills and Practice module. She looks forward to serving you as Mistress of Moot.
