Climate in the UK
The UK climate is at times unpredictable. That why people say that in Great Britain everyone talks about the weather! It is cold, wind, snowy and wet during the winter months and the first couple of weeks of spring between the months of November and March. Spring and summer temperatures are usually temperate and warm so you will be able to enjoy the beautiful country side. You can find weather reports for the UK at the British Met Office website (external link).
If you are arriving in the winter bring some warm clothes for your arrival. Remember you can always buy more clothing in the UK. We recommend that during the cold season, you put on layers of clothes, for example, wear a t-shirt, under a sweater, with a coat and scarf on top to keep warm and healthy. You may need a waterproof coat for wet days and good comfortable shoes or boots.
