Business Management degrees
Study Business and Management at Buckingham, ranked 2nd for Graduate Prospects (on-track, The Complete University Guide, 2023) and 1st for Teaching, Learning Opportunities and Academic Support (National Student Survey, 2024).
Our business degrees prepare you for the world of business or entrepreneurship, helping you gain the confidence you need to enter the world of business and make a real contribution right from the start.
You will develop knowledge and skills that are relevant to today’s business world including entrepreneurial thinking, artificial intelligence, global business, sustainability and big data analytics.
Our two-year or three-year business management degrees are innovative, stimulating and developed to help you naturally adopt an entrepreneurial mind-set and a global, ‘real world’ perspective through integrated case-based and practical learning.
Because we embed everything we do in the real world of business, for our Business Management programmes we have abolished exams. Only the accounting modules have exams, as that is a requirement of professional bodies. But the assessments you will do for the business modules range from writing reports, to giving presentations or taking part in debates. In other words, we will assess you using the kind of work you will be expected to do in the workplace. Nobody in a typical management office is asked to write an essay for the boss, or to take an exam. So we won’t ask you to do those things either. Instead, we’ll ask you to do the things that you will do in the office.
Our students find they are highly attractive to employers with Discover Uni, showing that 90% of our students gain employment or go on to future study.
Oh – and we also get 100% student satisfaction on our Business Management degree!
