Educating Future Doctors Forum

The Educating Future Doctors Forum is a one-day conference, bringing together medical educators from across the UK to discuss important issues such as training pathways, widening participation and ensuring students and junior doctors can manage perceived stress and are retained in the system.

Why does it matter?

Medical education shapes the future of healthcare. By innovating and improving how we train doctors, we directly impact patient care, healthcare systems and community well-being.

Who will be there?

The forum will host a diverse group of participants, including: medical practitioners from the public and private sectors, University educators, representatives from the NHS and UK Government, medical suppliers, developers in new technologies, analysts and investors and medical students.

What to expect on the day

Attendees can look forward to a variety of sessions designed to inform and inspire:

  • Plenary sessions: Keynotes speeches from leading voices in medical education
  • Parallel tracks: Focused discussion on specialised topics
  • Panel discussions: Interactive dialogues among experts
  • Workshops: Hands-on sessions dedicated to the latest in medical education technology, supporting the student journey, innovative pedagogy, and the role of clinical placements
