Shiyamalaraj Kandasamy holds an MSc in Data Science from The University of Buckingham and a BSc in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
He joined the university as a lecturer in 2023, and teaches mathematics, software quality assurance, software engineering, and Python programming. He also has over five years of experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in quality assurance, Six Sigma, and operations management.
His research interests are in using natural language processing in machine learning tasks, and in studying the use of AI in manufacturing.
