It is important to look after your health while at university and be registered at a local practice. Your GP should always be your first point of contact for any issues with your physical or mental health. At The University of Buckingham, North Campus, we encourage you to register with Hungerford Medical Centre as your local GP Practice.

To book an appointment at Hungerford Medical Centre you can:

• Use the online Patient Access System

Prescriptions for medication can be taken into the associated pharmacy at your GP or a local chemist, who will then provide you with the necessary treatment. Whilst the NHS does charge a small sum for medication, students can apply for a reduction in fees using the ‘HC1’ NHS form, available from your doctor.

Aside from the GP, Crewe also has a Student Support Team that can offer pastoral support for any issues that may be impacting your studies. More information on the team can be found on the Student Support Moodle page.
