The Hon Mrs Milly Soames DL

Milly is currently a Deputy Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire which gives her the opportunity to engage with many of the three thousand voluntary organisations and their volunteers who play such an important role in the county.

Her professional life started in retail with Marks and Spencer’s and culminated in Radio Appeal fund raising with Capital Radio’s ‘Help a London Child’. She now Chairs a criminal justice charity, BACO and is a Trustee of Action4Youth. Her interest in education stems from a year teaching in a school in Kenya.
