ONLINE MEDIA PROJECTS

Fresh from their groundbreaking contribution to Combined Universities Broadcasting's General Election night coverage, Buckingham journalism students have just completed their Online Media projects.

The brief was to create an original website on a topic of choice that would wow the World Wide Web. All 19 students succeeded brilliantly with an eclectic array of website destinations that are well worth a visit (external link).

Tutor Richard Adamson said: "The standard of work this year was uniformly high and I'm amazed at the imagination displayed and the dedication all have put in."

The University of Buckingham offers a wide range of 2-year degrees in Journalism and Communication / Media, including some programmes which are new in 2010. As well as Online Media, students take courses on broadcast journalism, applied publication design and principles of media practice. The tutors are experienced journalists in all media who continue to work within the industry as well as teach.
